Despite the beautiful, but interruptive snow we received, and the rain to follow, we finally got bundled up and made it out to Zoolights this year! Matthew loved looking at all the lights and Hannah did surprisingly well despite her snowsuit impersonation of Randy from Christmas Story!

You Can't Phase Hannah!

Here is the view of our White Christmas morning from our front porch!

So after several mornings of Matthew saying that I keep the house too cold, we thought he could use a robe, and he is greatly enjoying having his "portable blanket!" Here he is all cozy on Christmas morning.

For her first Christmas we had to set Hannah up right. The major argument between brother and sister has been over Matthew's puppy. Hannah is always trying to snuggle up and kidnap Puppy so we thought this giant pink puppy would be just her style!

Just another moment from Christmas morning, diving into stockings!

And here is Santa's sweetest little helper!

And our yearly pic of the family in their brand new Christmas Eve Pajamas that Santa brought early while we were attending Christmas Eve Services!

Here is Hannah showing off her walking skills with her new Radio Flyer!

Here is a little clip of my snow angels! It makes it a little more difficult when freezing rain comes down on top of all the beautiful snow!

While we get a lot of rain up here in Seattle, snow isn't as constant, until this week! With Seattle receiving an average of only 3 inches of snow a year, our 9 inches (as of last night) is a rare sight, but beautiful! Here are some shots of the family playing in the snow!

Josh and Matthew had a great time decorating (and eating) their first gingerbread house together!

Here is Matthew enjoying his cake a little early at his Birthday party!

Jane Wayne

Josh finally got me out to the Jane Wayne range after three years with this battalion. Turns out it was a lot of fun!

The Women's Christmas Dinner at our church is a wonderful, beautiful evening where the ladies have an opportunity to get together and enjoy celebrating Christmas together. Here are a few pics of me with my fellow military wives (Dawn, Tasha, Kadie and Kendra) enjoying the evening!

Here is big brother Matthew helping to keep Hannah happy by sweetly rocking her! I can't complain when she seems to enjoy it so much!

Here is Hannah in October trying to figure out not only crawling, but how to do it in a dress!

Baby Hannah

It seems only fitting that the first posting to update everyone should be the announcement of our beautiful baby girl born on April 3, 2008. She weighed in at 7lbs. 15oz. and was 20in. long. She was welcome with open arms into this world by Josh and I along with her big brother Matthew, who couldn't love her more!

Welcome to our world!

So here is our family's attempt at catching up with technology after three very busy years! With family and friends growing more scattered we are starting this blog with the hope of keeping everyone informed and feeling involved with our family's adventures. Our intent is to begin by catching everyone up to where we are now, with hope of then updating on a regular basis and keeping everyone current! Things move so fast I hope to accomplish that so that everyone will be aware of the joys we are experiencing in both our family's developmental milestones and our military joys! So with that said, welcome to our family blog!
