So it's been a while, quite a while in fact, since I've updated out blog. Call it lazy, call it busy, call it what you will but here is my attempt at getting back on track. Rather than back track and tell you all about the fabulous adventures we've had, I'm just going to start back where we are, which is in and of itself a wonderful new adventure.
In the coming week we are beginning Matthew's first official year of homeschooling. We will be building on where we left off last year putting him somewhere in Kindergarten. He is loving our new curriculum here at home and asks each day if we can "do school" and is looking forward to a new experience with a co-op at our church. He is extremely fortunate to be enrolled in both science and art with the co-op! I also view this as a great blessing, given the two messy activities get to happen outside of my home!!!!!!!!!!!! Additionally he will be attending Awana at church and taking a tumbling class which he is also excited about!
Hannah, who is now three, gets to start pre-school this year at our church! Unlike her older brother, she is a social bug and can't wait to go to school with lots of new friends! She is also finally old enough (her words) to participate in Awana and take both ballet classes and tumbling classes!
Needless to say we are going to have a busy year. In addition to the activities the kids and I are planning, Josh will be taking a new command which will keep him very busy, as usual, but we are so proud of him and excited about what God has in store for his career!
So that's where we are, hopefully I will do a better job at updating here but surely you will understand if it doesn't happen, though we do hope to share as many experiences with you as we can. On that note, here are a couple of pictures from this summer!
